This single-cycle degree programme (five-year duration) for academic year 2022/2023 is open to all but limited to 150 freshers (see the section on enrolment and university studies).
The course trains a professional figure expert in drugs, parapharmaceuticals and health products (including medical-surgical aids, health items, diagnostic products, dietetic products and supplements, herbal and cosmetic products).
Theoretical and practical training is aimed at providing the knowledge necessary to practise the profession of pharmacist and other professions related to the numerous areas of the extensive production-distribution chain of pharmaceuticals (design, production, analysis / quality control, formulation, legislation, conservation, distribution and disclosure-information).
The study plan includes basic subjects, to which are added already from the first-year didactic laboratories aimed at practical preparation; the training is completed in the fifth year with the preparation of the thesis and with the mandatory professional internship, to be carried out at a Pharmacy for a period of not less than 6 months / 900 hours, which allows access to the examination for the qualification to the profession of Pharmacist.
The course involves core subjects along with educational laboratories (already from first-year) aimed at practical preparation; the training is completed in the fifth year with the preparation of a thesis and the compulsory professional internship, at a Pharmacy for no less than 6 months/900 hours, which allows access to the exam to register as a professional Pharmacist.
