All students who have achieved an English level A1-A2 in the Placement test are required to take an English test that takes place at the end of the 20-hour remedial course (whether they have attended it or not).

The 20-hour course test will be available on DIR on the following Fridays in June and July 2022 from 9am to 6pm (for a total of 8 sessions):

  • 3 June 2022
  • 10 June 2022
  • 17 June 2022
  • 24 June 2022
  • 1 July 2022
  • 8 July 2022
  • 15 July 2022
  • 22 July 2022

Students will be able to take the test only once on the day of the exam but they will be able to return for each exam session in June and July 2022 until they pass the test.

Each student will be able to check the link of the course on DIR on the UPOBOOK page of the English teacher of their study course, which they must access in order to take the test. The teachers are:

Dr. Steven Singer (Novara)

Dr. Irina Kalinina (Novara and Vercelli)

Dr Serena Pellegrini (Alessandria)

Dr. Giulia Susanna Robutti (Alessandria)

PLEASE NOTE: until you pass the 20-hour course test, you cannot take the full English course exam for your course of study but must take the Placement test again in the following academic year (2022/2023). If the level obtained in the Placement test is lower than B1, you will have to re-attend the 20-hour course and pass the relevant test in the 2022/2023 academic year in order to attend the English course of your study course in the 2023/2024 academic year.
